im getting ready to place an order for the steeda 2 1/2" cowl hood and decided to skim through ebay one more time to see if anything would possibly catch my eye... then i found this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-04-Mustang-COBRA-R-Hood-REAL-CARBON-FIBER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33646QQihZ010QQitemZ200348019805QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

i saw one of there fiberglass hoods going for a pretty cheap price a bit back but now im seeing the CF and its really tempting me... the only thing that is holding me back is where they make the hoods to order..

you guys think that would be a good deal or do you all think i might have fitment issues? what do you all think i should do?

i read through there feedback and people seem to be very pleased with there quality and they even told someone to send the product back for free replacement when it was damaged during shipping..

make up my mind for me

Lol, they make a 99-04 hood, a 5.0 and even a classic mustang hood but no 96-98. Cuz they are in SD and i'd be able to pick one up since i need a hood anyways and let you know the quality.

He's in Otay Mesa - but that's not the manufacturing plant. It's the shipping warehouse
Hi yes we make in Carbon. I do not have any there that can be seen 95% of the ones we make are shipped in a box and palletized I am not able to take them off from there, I will however offer you full satisfaction guarantee, if you do not like it you get your money back, let me know thanks

So I can't check them out in person. But I may just have him make one for me. I can post pics of that.

Well i have nothing to lose, i give him money. Show up 2 weeks later, look it over and may even test fit it there. Dont like it, i wont pick it up. Or i can just drive it back. You'd have to ship it back

unfortunatly for me, and most others, i dont have that option

around here the only "performance" shops we have here are the Stealerships, and the imbreeders that have a wrench, 2 screwdrivers, and a rusty old lift from the mid 80's... so there is no hood/body parts buying/test fitting place around here..

god i cant wait to go back home....3 more months......
