should i do it

They do but you remember how much the aftermarket embraced the 5.0 after the then-new body style Mustang 4.6 was released? The aftermarket loves the current 4.6 & I promise you they will not love the new '05 for a good year or 2 @ the earliest. It's not worth it man. Keep her.

Sounds good J. I'm on another thread finding out more about tuning/dyno tuning. I got mad mods in the mail & I need to optimize my car after install as I won't do anymore mods after that besides maybe a Steeda Timing adjuster if I can figure out how to install. Like will I need to pull the crank pulley off to install?

We already discussed this, remember? Everyone here is gonna keep their current car (for life or until their first-born son reaches 16 to give it to him). Then four years from now, we are all buying 2008 Cobras. Didn't you get the Stangnet e-mail to start saving?
:nice:

I'd recommend waiting for the first releases (2004/5) to "circulate" and mod the car you have now. I'm, personally, 'on the fence' with the new design. I'll need to see it in person, maybe drive one, before I'm convinced it's worth a trade. I was never a big Mustang fan, but when the current style came out, I really was drawn to it...non-functional hood scoops and all :D

Mod the '03, then wait for '06 or '07 and upgrade to a Mustang Cobra. Modding your car now will help hold some of its value. You can believe the value's gonna drop with the new car coming out. If you trade it in for an '05 you'll lose your shirt, shoes, and everything else.

Exactly my point. I'm gonna keep my 2K & keep modding it. When it's paid off I will keep it & consider either a new Cobra or Shelby perhaps or even a new F150 for funtionality. When my car's paid off I'll finally be able to save up for the mod we never have $$ for & then my car will be able to woop new body style Cobras or whatever.

Keep the 03.. Let the others who are willing to pay premium price on the 05 work out the bugs..

I'm on the fence when it comes to the 05.. No doubt dealers will not be selling them for anything less then sticker. I know its cool to be one of the first on the block with a new style vehicle. However, give it a couple months and 05s will be as common of a site as 99+'s.
