i have the oppertunity to pick up a slightly used vortech for very cheap...and was wondering what you guys think about being blown and still being able to drive your car daily! I know that i will need different injectors, tune etc...but do you think that i could last awhile on factory internals? I do plan on putting forged internals in later. I wouldnt boost the car over 10lbs without forging the internals. About what should i be putting to the rear wheels running a vortech @ 10lbs?

yes one should be blown as often as possible

and a supercharger on the car is also a good thing too.

its awesome dude, if you can get it do so, you'll never want to go back, I for one don't know how I used to survive without boost.

Just get a good tune and don't worry about the stock internals, I have like 20,000 miles with the supercharger and it has never missed a beat

though, before you buy it, call T&J and find out what the additional pieces will cost with what your getting.... see if the "really cheap" price is as good as his price.

I found a "really cheap" kit on the internet for mine... by the time I got the rest of it, my "really cheap" kit was almost a grand more than a T&J kit, making the same power.

Nothing beats being blown. Superchargers are good too....
