Should I "paint" the tubular K-member?

My car is white, the engine bay is getting a complete detail job (NO WIRES), all holes filled in... The engine bay will be getting a fresh base+clear paint (white of course)...

The tubular k-member I have is black... I wonder if I should have it powder coated white? Powder because it will last longer than just paint. I'm wondering if that will look nice? Or just leave it black so I won't have to wash it every day?

For the amount you will see, I would leave it black. Or even a gray tone of sorts for the reason you have stated.

Sure it would look cool but when are you gonna see it and how much of it are you gonna see? Then add in the cleaning of it.
Show car - paint it.
Non show car - leave it black.

The newer 5.0 Mustangs mag has a front suspension setup in all white and it looks really cool IMO I think it would look better white than black.

That white k-member is going to get very dirty very quickly if you drive the car at all. Also, whatever color you do it, the control arms should really match. A better option might be to do the control arms, k-member, and spindles in a high gloss black to "hide" them a little, but someone with a fine eye will also notice the extreme efforts of your detailed suspension parts.
