Should I switch to Synthetic ?

There is nothing wrong with convential oil. If you car is over 10 years old I wouldnt put synthetic in it because it may leak. I rather have no leaks and convential oil than synthetic and a leak. I have never seen a case of motor oil failure. The crappy filters like Fram fail. The paper clogs them up and the filter goes into bypass mode. then you are running without oil filtration.
Just get a good synthetic oil filter like Mobil 1.

i noticed with mine that the car eats the synthetic more then conventional. The synthetic is a little thinner then regular oil in the same weight. I usually run 10w40 or 15w20 in the summer. All depends which is on sale haha.
