i have a 87 mustang convertible with 331 stroker and nitrous...car in decent shape for its age, needs to be finsihed off (gears,dyno-tuned) . im looking for something to be able to drive more every day and i want a sn95 body style...guy is willing to trade his 96 mustang...is it worth it?

its a

96 mustang gt it has about 130,000 miles on it and the body is in really good condition other than clear coat peeling off on the back bumper and a little on the passenger door. windows are tinted, it has 4:10 gears in it. the interior is black on black and is pretty mint, it has a cracked front windshield. it has a off road h pipe with flows. a short shifter, cold air intake, bbk throttle body, power plus upper intake plenum. power everything. car runs very well. its an everyday driver. car does need an 02 sensor.

The 96' was the first year of the 4.6 mod motor in the Mustang, and it was and is a gutless wonder. I would not touch one myself. Ford finally got the 4.6 "right" in 1999 and was worth owning IMHO!

+1

the only 96-98 stang i would ever consider owning would be a cobra. sohc mod motors suck the arse. imo, as long as your paint is decent, having the mods you have, you could probably sell yours and get an sn95 that's nicer than the one the guy is offering.
