There's a picture of a re-pop shifter in a '68 with a T-5 and a console in THIS POST from another thread; and the company (and others) sell re-pops that will match the 64-66 Mustangs as well.
I have the 4 speed look a like shifter with the 5 speed ball on it that is designed to mount to a T5. It looks factory and I love it. Its just like the one in that thread.
I have a factory fox body 5 speed shift knob on the T5 in my 68. I have a fox console and shift boot too so it looks right at home. Also IMO that little knob is one of the best feeling knobs ever, well, for my small hands anyways.
