Purchased a Stock 01 Bullitt waiting for it to be delivered...Gonna get a set of lowering springs for it..My question is any use Fox Body Mustang Shox & Struts????? If so does it lower the car anymore, or is it a rougher ride??

I had Bilsteins & H&R springs on my Old Fox Hatch was gonna go with the same setup. I remember someone saying they used Fox Body Shox & Strut's on their 99 stang. Didn't know if he did to lower it.

The fox shocks and struts work on an sn-95 well because they have a longer range of motion and help prevent bottoming out.

No, it's because they are shorter. If you take the stock length strut and lower the car an inch, your strut is always compressed an inch more than originally designed. If you use a shorter strut in the first place, you have the same suspension travel but you don't have that additional inch of compression. The strut is less likely to bottom out internally but it has less suspension travel than the stock size.
