Side Exhaust: Need replacement mufflers

I have side exit exhaust, with the lame SVO side skirts, and the exhaust is just too quiet. I brought it into a custom exhaust place and they said they couldn't custom fit a regular muffler in there. By regular I mean the inlet/outlet on opposite sides.

So... does anyone know of a place that sells mufflers that will work with side exit exhaust? Inlet/outlet on the same side.

1 more thing, I know magnaflow sells a universal muffler that would work.. but I have no idea how it sounds. Are all magnaflows roughly the same in sound?

Spintech gets a from me... I bought their kit once and since i've sold it i am regretting every day of driving the stang without it.
