I'm looking into getting different side mirrors for my 67. I've found some I like that are listed as being for 69/70 so I'm wondering if they'll also fit the 67 w/o having to drill more holes in the door.

I don't know if they're the same Chelle, plus '69-'70 don't have wing windows to contend with, keep that in mind.

The mirror mounting place is behind the vent window so I don't think that's going to be an issue. I have the bullit mirrors on there now (which I hate with a passion) and don't have any clearance issues and I think they stick out towards the front of the car more than these would.

hey Chelle, when you find the mirrors you want i'll take those bullets off your hands. that said i think you would better off with 71-73 sport mirrors or even the sport mirrors off of a granada or maverick. the reason is because of where they mount on the 69/70, there is not as much of a ledge as the 67-68 cars had, but all of the mirrors mentioned above were used on cars that had more of a ledge like the 67-68. the sport mirror housing are all pretty much the same the only real difference is the pedestals, although on some of the sport mirrors the the point at the front is slightly more rounded but you would have a hard telling the difference even if there was one of each mounted on the same car

Nah, don't like the sport mirrors.

Here's one of the mirrors I was looking at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969...ewItemQQcategoryZ33649QQitemZ8021407063QQrdZ1

I like that they're nice & thin, chrome, fairly large, and rectangular. That's my biggest gripe about the bullets is they're round & small. I can't see squat with them (wasn't very fun driving it through Kansas City when I bought it). For the time being, I have some 3" blind spot mirrors on them just so I can see more.

I liked old Sadie's mirrors, but they were cheap plastic knock-offs and there were extra holes to mount them. Otherwise I'd use them.

Oh, and you can have dibbs on the bullets. I'll PM you when I get them replaced. They do have some minor pitting & scratches.

Chelle - I had that mirror on the 67 for what it's worth. Measure your mounting holes and post. I'll do the same on mine tomorrow. My guess is they are the same.
