Side passenger kick panel removal.

I've got to install the daiblo chip i've recieved and can do everything once i get the comp, but i cant figure out how to remove the passenger side kick panel. I know i have to remove that plug lookin thing but i dont know what to do after that. Can someone help me with this?

First you need to remove the rocker panel when you open the door trim. Just grab it and pull up, it will be tight but it will come up, it is help on by friction clips, then remover the plug thing you are talking about. That is just a push pin with seveal fins, then the panel will be loose and just work it out. That is all.

There are 2 pins on the backside of the panel. Be careful not to pull up or sideways too hard or you might break them like I did

Remember to clean the contacts properly, and test the car before you put everything back together.

When you take the rocker panel mouldings off and the side kick panels off check to see if there's any rust on the door sills where the metal clips are inserted and in the area behind the kick panels. I've seen rust of the metal when the mouldings are taken off. Tell me if you have any rust in any of these 2 areas. Thanks.
