Hey I'm looking to get a 94 or 95 GT convert this winter maybe sooner, but I've got a quick question. Should I buy the SVO sidepipes or the Roush's? I like the look of the SVO's, but I know that they come with Borla exhaust and I don't like the sound of Borla. Also I wasn't sure if there is a quality difference between the two. Thanks in advance.

SVO - Like the round tubed look alot better - plus I'm a fan of borla (for now, ha) and am probably going that route - only thing I don't like about side exhaust is you have to get the bumper cover for the back - makes it kind of look like a V6 from the back. CDC also makes a side exhaust kit if you're still looking - you can check it out at cal-mustang.com or wherever it's carried.

crap, cannot really see them well with the pics I got. Basically I took the skirts off cause I did not like the SVO in big letters down the side of my car. I do really like the pipes though. No need to use the horn when my pipes are point straight at the car next to me.

SVO Borlas-2 1/4"
CDC DynoMax Super Turbos-2 1/2"

Might make a difference if you plan on doing some big HP in the future. I went w/ the CDC kit and Bassani Xw/cats. Very nice. I have to get my car cleaned up one day so I can take some decent pics of the car.
Good luck w/your decision

I think the SVO looks and sounds great on an otherwise stock Stang, but like Punestang said if you are getting more power later you might want more flow!

Have a shop custom make it. My buddie has o/r h-pipe and custom 1 chamber flows that exit out before the tire. The only thing that needs to be fabbed up is the back half of the muffler piping because they have to bend an s so that it gets in front of the tire and exits backwards. Its loud as hell and the chrome tips coming out each side looks good. Plus when Im cruising in front of him, I can see the exhaust coming out on each side.

This way you get to pick your muffler.

I got the SVO's but I like the look of the Roush side skirts better. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
