Sign of a bad fuel pump?

Today I was getting lunch, heard a slight pop(reminded me of the fuel pump relay on my truck going out), and the car died on me. All of a sudden with no warning. Pulled into the parking lot and messed around under the hood and everything looked ok. Well I opened the trunk and pressed the inertia switch and the car fired back up. Could this be a sign of the fuel pump going out or a loose wire?

From what you said, it could be a bad inertia switch, no? The switch had tripped for no reason?

How much and where can I get a switch. The Hitman suggested that as well.

How bout a ford dealer? Maybe ebay. Maybe MPS.

I think it's a switch aswell because if the pump is going bad you'll have trouble starting your engine on first crank.
