I noticed on some people's sigs, it says "removed silencer". I'm guessing that it has something to do the engine or something. What exactly is it, and how do you take it out.

It's a black rubber piece that goes from the stock air box into the fender also called the "snorkel".

Yeah it pops right out too! Its one of those free mods people are always takling about. Like bumping the timing. prob good for a couple of ponies.

It's the cherry on a virgin stang. Guess that's why some people brag about it on here in their sigs. To me it's kinda trivial....

The sliencer mod is better to do once you have a K&N filter as well.

ahh i think i know what that thing is. It's taken out when you get a cold air right? Also, is there a special way to take it out, or can i just cut it open and take it off. How exactly will i benefit after i take it out.
