Ok, so I finally have my first Fox with a stick shift. The 89 2.3 that I finished up last month.

I had three pedal sets to choose from, all looked alike.

Now that its in there, are these pedals way closer together than many other cars?

My 08 Bullitt and my 66 Malibu seem to have much more space between the pedals and are easier to drive.

Ive had to be bend the clutch pedal back out on a fox before. I don't remember enough of the mechanics involved but it might be from not pushing the clutch pedal down squarely but it was to where it nearly touched the brakes.

I think foxes are all like that. When I have to drive with my work boots on I always hit the clutch and the brake or the gas and the brake.

If that's what your'e talking about. If they're literally touching each other than that's not normal

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

Whatever you choose they won't work if they aren't rusty.

I had one set rustier than the other. I first put in a set with an aluminum svo quadrant, only to find it did not want to play with the 2.3 clutch cable. Took it out, put in the one with the clutch switch, etc.

Thanks for the feedback, may bend them apart some.

Thanks. Took an adjustable wrench and moved the clutch away from the brake, much better. This set does have some rust, so they should be fine.
