Are the rear axles from 86-93' 8.8" the same as 94'-98'? If not what is different and would be needed to make the sn95 one work in an 87'?

No, the 94+ axles are longer

Would it work on an 87' though? By how much is it wider, any drastic difference?

I think they're 3/4" longer.

So if i'm correct by saying the stock axles in an 87' won't fit, then what options can I use for the 94'-98'? What vehicles could I pull them from? Or are there any other options at all the make it work in my 87'?

Ok here is what I am asking basically as I am still a little confused. I understand the axles on a sn95 stang are .75" wider, but - will an entire rear end from a 94'-98' mustang minus the axles work on a fox using the stock axles from my 87' 5.0? I suppose it is kind of turned around but how else could I get the sn95 rear end without the axles to work on a fox with the stock 5.0 axles? Or could I just bolt on the sn95 rear end and slide the 87' axles in with no problem?
