Seems to me that you run out of injector before the meter becomes a hindrance anyhow......

Seems to me you would be correct ... O Knowledgeable One

Well ... At least Ford Motor Company thought along that line of reasoning

All one has got to do to see that kinda thing in action is ........

Notice they added larger squiters to the Cobra that generates more airflow
HOWEVER
They used no larger sized meter

simply because ... it was not needed as it was not inadequate

Summing up like Mr. JT has pointed out

OEM fuel system peters out before OEM meter :Word:

Ford does some retarded stuff, don't defend them.

Not only is that funny

It is quite true Kurt :Word:

But hey

I kinda thought it would be very relatable to some of the less experienced folk

Who knows ... Maybe it might help increase some understanding of a subject
that is a bit difficult for one to get a grasp of

Well ... At least ... It took me a good while to get my head around the whole
meter pegging/injector sizing/meter calibrating thing

It has nothing to do with the electronics. The mass air meter is dependent on a certain percentage of the air volume bypassing the sample tube. If you increase the cross sectional area of the meter by removing any material from inside the meter, the total sample volume will change, therefore causing it to give innaccurate readings.

Ok, fair enough. That makes sense.

if you added the complete tfs induction system like i did i would upgrade the stock piece why take a chance i have the pro-m myself.i know the fox guys with bolt ons love that mod (our mass air housing)94-95 cars r crazy they put a good flowing meter on a comp. thats not so good imo they would have hit itgood with the a9l comp with 94-95 meter with mild h/i/c i bet makes a cheap fun set up(explorer intake or cobra intake a little spray mid 12s really cheap then put a little boost
