size of throttle body 96-98 vs 99+?

are the sizes of these the same? i thought i heard the 99+ throttle body is larger than the 96-98's, this true?

From Pages 75 to 76 of the January 2003 issue of MM&FF, here are the TB sizes for the 2V GT:

1996: 65 mm
1997: 65 mm
1998: 65 mm
1999: 66.8 mm
2000: 65 mm
2001: 65 mm

hmmm, wonder why the 99's is 1.8 mm larger

what about the BULLITT what size is that?? and is it the same TB as the 98 Cobras?

Using a caliper, I measured my 99 GT factory TB bore size to be 68.5 mm. Maybe my measurement was off, but maybe not. The bore might have a taper, and it depends where you measure it. It may actually be 66.8 mm at the butterfly valve. Along similar lines, I measured the bore of my 70mm Accufab TB to be 73 mm.

The same article lists the BULLITT TB size to be twin 57 mm. It did not provide any data on the Cobra motors.
