Hey All,
Will the drive shaft slip yoke from my 68 3-speed work with my T5? The spline fits perfectly, but I'm just concerned that the outside diameter may be a tad too small, giving me leakage at my rear seal . I know, leaking/oily discharge at the "rear seal" kinda sounds like an age related issue, but....... Just gettin' ready to slip the engine, etc. in and don't want any last minute surprises.
Thanx,
Gene

I used my 3 speed yoke in my T5 for a long time (until I changed driveshaft and rear end), and never had any problems. I had it like that for almost 2 years.

The 28-spline yoke used in the 3-speed/4-speed/C4 works perfectly in the T5.

i agree that it will fit.
I still bought a new spicer yolk to avoid leaks because the 40yr old seal surface was showing wear and a new one wasnt that much cash.

Plus the spicer is stronger than the oem for high horsepower apps. and I would rather not have the front of the shaft drop out in case of breakage.
