I have the sloppy steering problem but it is not the steering shaft Ive changed it and it still has it. It is something in the upper part. What do I need to change to fix it?

There is a u-joint under the dash, which the top of the steering shaft slides into. Sometimes the bolt is not tight enough causing some steering play. Worth a check.

Might not be tight enough. There's also another bolt holding that u-joint to the steering column in the dash - it might be loose. Best bet is to stick yuor head under there and move the steering wheel. If the wheel moves and the steering shaft does not, something has more play than it should.

maybe thats what it is because it has something to do with it above where the lower shaft connects.
