Slotted Rotors install question

I had my Cobra R (brembo) set up installed about 6 months ago which comes with 13inch slotted rotors by a mustang shop. I was at a different shop this weekend and one of the guys that worked there said my rotors were installed backwards. That i should swap the left and right. He said that the slots should face a certain way for max performance. Kind of hard to explain, But if you look at the slots on the rotors the way they are installed, they are angled as a left to right incline. (basically the slots look like its uphill towards the rear of the car)


I hope this makes sense, but is there a certain way that the rotors slots should face?

Some recommend the "vanes" face a certain direction, some don't. Check your rotor manufacturers website.

I just got on the brembo website, and my rotors are installed backwards. Dallas Mustang blows, they are the ones that did the install. Is there any way to tell if the discs were damaged or warped because of it?

it doesnt really matter which way the slots are facing. "they" recomment the bottom of the slots contacting the pad first, so the slot should go top to bottom when looking at them from the side. but it really doesnt matter. i had mine installed "backwards" for the first 6 months. no problems. then my crappy pads wore down and i switched them when i cut them. no biggie. just chill
