Do you have the SLP catted X-pipe? Do you like it? Performance gains? Sound?

Everyone says SLP's are loud but I think that's their catback system. Their X pipe seems to be at a decent price for stainless steel ones and it comes with offroad tubes that can be swapped in for the cats using clamps.

I like mine ...fit good and sounds great ...Think the cats help eliminate any of the rasp of the X, and leave you with a real smooth, clean tone. With flowmasters, it isnt too loud, but loud enough when you run it out - and has a perfect sound. I recommend flowmasters with any midpipe - X, H, prochamber ...whatever the combo its gonna sound great (and you won't lose any horses with them either like people seem to think) ..All in all though, I have no complaints about my SLP X

and btw, it doesn't come with the race pipes -at least mine didnt ...think you have to buy them seperatly

it does hang low, but the sound is great, and the catted version is not too loud at all, the loudness does come from the catback. i have the magnaflow catback and slp catted x, it is nice quiet rumble. i gained signifficant power from this combo. very happy.

Quality and fit are top notch, I like the option of installing long tubes without having to change to a different x-pipe.
