I just ordered the SLP Loudmouth cat-back anyone in the midland/odessa area want to loan me some jackstands and a floorjack? I know I can install it, but all I've got are rhino ramps

Is it possible to get the stock cat-back off without cutting it? If I do have to cut it, can it be welded back together if I can sell it to a V6? A good online write up of the install would be nice too since I'm too lazy to search

You buy a not so cheap catback and you can't afford a jack and jack stands? Sears just had their Craftsman floor jack and 2 stands on sale for $27.49. (I just bought my second set!)

The slp is a breeze to put on, the hardest part is having to cut the stock tail pipes off. Just cut them straight and you can easily weld them back together. I wouldnt worry about selling it thou i have 2 stock catbacks in my shop, nobody wants them.

I'll get a friend to help, maybe I'll get lucky and get rid of the stock exhaust. If not, what should I do with it? I definitly don't have room for a full cat-back for very long.

Hey congrats on the new exhaust. What else do you plan on doing to the exhaust? That SLP is supposed to get VERY loud if you change the mid pipe, mybe with cats it wouldnt be too bad and would be legal.Oh yea, get another dyno test after the slp goes on.Its supposed to net around 9RHWP.

I suppose if you have no way to get it to the junk yeard I would cut it into small pieces and throw it in in trash. I found a nice dumpster to put mine in when I was done. Great sound and quality a good exhaust choice.
