Have been thinking about getting the SLP LM. Looking at their site www.slponline.com and saw that you can buy just the resonators for $149 or $199 for LM II version.

Question is: Could you buy just the resonators and replace the OEM mufflers?

I know the stock exhaust pipes are supposed to be 2.25" and the SLP's are 2.5", but seems like a good shop could make them work.

SLP Loudmouth has 3.5" exhaust tips, not 2.5". 2ndly, get the SLP full kit, its NICE

(EDIT: Oh I thought you meant exhaust TIPS, i see u just said exhaust, yeah a custom shop can get adapters that go from 2&1/4" to fit 2&1/2" exhuast no problem)

Did the install myself, its REAL simple, if you have jacks and a saw-zall to cut off the old exhaust.

I'd say go for the full cat-back system but to answer your question, yes, muffler shops should be able to expand the stock 2 1/4" pipes to match up the 2 1/2" muffler.

would be interesting to hear the loudmouth on the the 2.25 tubing vs the 2.5

I'd like to, but I just bought steeda subs...getting installed on Monday!!! Maybe I should wait a few more paychecks and get the whole system. Those SLP exhaust tips are sweeeeet!
