What do you guys think? Im thinkin of pickin up a SLP Loudmouth II catback.

http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=M31009A&BIG=M31009A-1

They look like they would be insane. How would they compare to flowmaster 40 series? I have bbk shortys and a bbk offroad H pipe.

Its hard to tell in those pics but what are the tips like? Angled slightly or what? Anyone have pics of SLP Loudmouth II catback tips?

This all started because I wanted 3.5" or 3" tips lol.

From what I've heard of those, they probably aren't anywhere near as loud as the 40 series. Deep, smooth tone with little or no drone is what I've heard reported of them. For what it's worth, I'm also considering that catback to replace my ill fitting mess of an exhaust.:)

not as loud as the 40 series?! well I have american thunder if im upgrading I want it to be louder, any suggestions?!?!

The Loud Mouth I, perhaps? They are stupid loud. Kills children and cats a mile away loud! Villagers run and hide loud! Well, maybe not but probably.:D

Check the part number on your current Flowmasters. If it is an american thunder kit, the p/n should be 942543. the p/n is stamped into the bottom of the muffler. If they are 942543's or any thing except 42543's, get a set of these welded in. You will not find many mufflers that are louder! 42543's can not be purchased as a catt back kit so most people get the american thunder kit, not realizing it does not come with the loudest mufflers.
I researched this through Flowmasters and Summits web site. I e-mailed Summit and asked what mufflers come with the american thunder kit and they said 942543. So I compared this to Flowmasters web site and those are 2-chamber Delta flows.
The difference is noticable enough that I can't even hear my car running when it is next to my buddies 94 GT with 42543's on it.

Matt, I have the origional SLP Loudmouth catback. Loud enought to wake the dead!
The only thing keeping mine from driving me crazy is the fact I have a pro-chamber which quitens it down a lil.

Are those the ones they used before the Delta Flow's came out?
