I have flow master offset cat back system on my 97 mustang gt, and i want to put slp loud mouths just the mufflers on but i was told i have to buy the whole cat back system because the one i have is offset. Can i just get pipe bent to fit the slps with the system i have now the flow masters or would that cost me too much hp bc i gotta bend pipe. What you guyes gotta say

a competent exhaust shop can custom fit your slp loudmouths into your flowmaster catback. however, cost may be an issue. if you find a shop that will agree to do it, i would try and find out what type of work they did prior to letting them do the job. you dont want them to hack up a nice fitting catback.

i would def get quotes before letting anyone actually do that work so there's not surprises.

for what its worth, a friend of mine had magnapacks welded into his factory catback on his mach 1 by a local shop and they done a nice clean job. magnapacks are dimensionally the same as slps.

good luck.

+1 on using a good shop.

FWIW, I swapped out a MagnaPack catback for a MagnaFlow catback and the ONLY difference was the flow tubes. Same tail pipes and tips. Hence, a good shop will be able to bend new flow tubes for you and you will save a boodle by not having to buy all the other piping.
