Ok, i bought the SLP Loudmouth. On start up and revving your engine, this thing sounds awesome. 1-2500 rpm is the best. But once you hit 3000+ it all goes to ****. For one, it get QUIETER (dont know how that works.) The loudest part is my drone, which i love (sometimes.) This is with OEM cats. Im sure i didnt do the install wrong but i dont know cause a muffler shop did it.

Wow that is weird! I have them and they are loud and sound great all the way to redline./........

Do you mean that they don't have the low growly sound over 3000 RPMs or that they are just quiet? I installed my own the other week and they sound amazing. Mine are very low and throaty under 3000 and then start to scream when you go over. Also, have you heard your car from outside? This makes a huge difference. I had my brother drive my car past me and all I can say is wow. The interior of the Mustang dampens a lot of the sound and even with the windows down you won't get nearly the sound that you would if you were behind the car.
