slp quiz?

I have a 98 gt and was wondering could i buy the slp x pipe and the cat-back system and run it with the stock headers until i get enough money for the long tube headers.

I know this works on the 99+ Stangs go to SLP's web site and check to make sure. I would think the set up would be the same as far as the use of removable extentions to cats to allow for SLP long tubes.

Yep, the front pieces are removable to accept either length header. E-mail me for a price if you'd like.

front pieces of -what- are removable? Wouldn't u have to change the X-pipe that he buys for his stock (shorty) minifolds, when he gets the long tube headers?

nope... the slp x pipe is a 3 piece pipe. The front tubes work with stock headers, but if you remove them the x will bolt up to longtubes. and you can also swap out your cats for strait pipe.
