www.texasmustang.com has the Pro50 for $173. I liked the feel of the Pro50 over the Steeda, don't know anything about the SLP.

I love my Pro 5.0 too - I wouldn't want to skimp on something I occasionally bang the hell out of. (Still torn between which handle I like best though...currently using the Tri-Ax handle, while my wife has a Pro 5.0 handle on her Tri-Ax shifter...plus we have another Pro-5.0 handle - decisions, options...life is good!

The only complaint I have ever heard about the Pro 5.0 is that is too short of a throw; if that makes sense. Personally I love it. I like a very short, controlled throw. I haven't heard anything about the other but the 5.0 is solid.

I would definitely go with the Pro 5.0.. Mine is awesome and you can read everyone elses positive responses. They have been around for a long time and are a very trusted name. Can't go wrong with it!

Dittos, dittos - The Pro 5.0 is rock solid. You'll feel like your driving a TransAm Racer, enjoying every shift.

Every time I read a thread like this, the outcome is: Pro 5.0 shifter + Tri-ax handle = best

Check ebay for cheaper prices.
