Sluggish Start?

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if any of you might have a clue as to what is happening with my 5.0.

I have a 95 GT with 94,000 miles, Heads, cam...etc...etc (N/A..no nitrous either). Lately, the car has become very sluggish when starting. I still run the stock ignition, with a Crane PS-91 coil, and regular Ford ignition wires. I recently replaced the cap, rotor, spark plugs (installed AC-Delco Platinum Rapidfire plugs about 2000 miles ago), and Fuel Filter. The o2 sensors were replaced about 20,000-30,000 miles ago at the most when I installed the Bassani X-pipe.

The car used to (awhile back) start and shoot up in RPM (as if it was coming to life) and then idle perfectly. It still starts it just takes a bit of cranking and sometime it requires a tap of the gas or it stalls.

I was thinking the coil might be going bad or that the plug wires might need to be replaced. The car runs fairly well (for 94,000 miles...quite a few at the local road-courses), but I would like to know what is happening. The battery is fine and the car has never not started, it just seems to be showing its age.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
