I have a 1969 mustang with a 28 spline small bearing rear axle. I am having difficulty verifying the correct size of a small bearing axle vs. a large bearing axle. From what I can tell, a small bearing axle has an inner diameter 1.379 inches and an outer diameter of 2.834 inches (or there abouts) and a large axle bearing has an inner diameter of 1.533 inches and an outer diameter of 3.150 inches. Does this sound right?
