I was thinking...I am going to to pro-dyno March 21st, and before I go get it dyno tuned, I am making 10 lbs of boost right now (but that is with a power pipe). I was thinking that I could get a smaller SC pulley before I get it tuned to save some money on getting it tuned twice. If I am going to buy another pulley it will be the 8-Rib, 2.75" Vortech Supercharger Drive Pulley (approximately 14-15psi on most applications). I am running the stock pulley now (3.33') Would this be a wise move or not?

A 2.95 pulley may be better. A jump from 3.33 to 2.75 is alot. You have
3.33 about 10 #s ,3.12 about 12 #s ,2.95 about 14#s , 2.75 about 16 #s.
When I called Vortech they said each 1/8 drop is size is about 2 #s. The
2.95 should still use the original belt. 2.75 needs a new shorter belt.

well on the website says 2.75 is 14-15 lbs on most applications. Considering I have a HCI setup I prolly wont see that.It has 3.33 on it now and I am seeing 10 lbs but I also have a power pipe on it. I would guess I prolly would make about 8 without it. I was looking at the belts from Vortech the 2.95 is 1 inch smaller and the 2.75 is like 8 inches smaller guessing by looking at the part numbers, but I guess I willl leave it the way it is and change it later. Anyone else have suggestions?

How about a 2.95 pulley plus an 8 inch crank pulley?? Ive always heard a larger crank pulley is worth 1-2 psi. Ultimate decision depends on you, i would go that route but i know boost is addictive!!!

yeah it is . I can buy a 2.75 pulley for 80 bucks and get 14-15 psi. I would love that..
