Hello,

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Time for another obscure part-sourcing question. I am trying to round-up the discharge fitting for a fox III smog pump (what the rubber hose hooks up to on the pump).
IIRC, it has two fasteners holding it onto the side of the pump. I don't have that fitting and am wondering if anyone knows if it can be purchased separately, or what y'all have done to rig a fitting together.

Thank you for any thoughts.

Is this something that can be found in a JY?

I haven't checked my family owned JY recently.. but we have gotten a few II's in from time to time...

Thank you for the reply. Yeah, this is something that a J/Y would have. I *think* Ford used the same pumps going back some ways but I'm not sure on that (in old Broncos, vans, etc etc).

I might end up just making something from flatstock but was hoping someone sold these things for a clean install. I hate boogering stuff together.........

Thanks again - I wasn't sure that I'd get any replies.

Are you just wanting the fitting that goes on the side of a fox smog pump? I may have misunderstood the question, but if thats all you need then I can pull that off my smog pump and mail it to you no problems. Let me know.

Tim and Dave, thanks both a bunch. Tim, the offer is mucho appreciated , but me-thinks Dave has taken care of the situation.

For those wondering, I need a new pump on the '94 and don't have the triple digit bucks for a craptastic reman'd '94-95 pump. I'm gonna buy a reman'd fox pump and retrofit it, but I don't have the fitting (it's part of the case on 94-95 pumps, so I can't swap it over. And the fitting does not come with reman'd fox pumps). I couldn't find any vendors selling just that fitting so I wanted to ask the experts in here who know where to get that kind of part. Then Mr Dave offered me his, and all is good.

Thank you very much guys!

Kevin, the sentiments are very much appreciated.

Around here emissions testing is yearly and very strict (I flunk every year because I have an aftermarket catted H, and it doesn't have the OEM number of cats ). Due to strictness, it's hard to even find a pump in a J/Y to cannibalize. It's very nice of you guys to help me out with a part that otherwise is probably not individually procurable.
Thank you again for lookin out for me Kevin.
