I am going to bypass my smog and was wondering if any one had any advice on doing this. I have a good idea on what to do but wanted to ckeck with you guys first.
thanks
umm.. Get a pipe cap to plug the hole on the H-pipe... I used a UPR smog pump eliminator but it isn't truly necessary... It was a long time ago, but I had to get some Pipe fittings to screw into the back of the heads.. Those were the hardest part to find..
mines removed, i believe i ahve the steeda delete kit... also, i never capped off my things i just welded the things shut lol i was lazy at the time and didnt feel like running to the store
i used some hose and put a bolt in the other end for the h-pipe. i cut off the pipe that goes to the back of the headers and just crimped it. i couldn't get the stupid plugs in the heads so i just said screw it and put the tube back on.
yes, i had to because of the vortech moving the alternator closer to center, the tensioner was bottoming out and barely putting any pressure on the belt. but i had to grind down the spacer a bit to have it line up with the belt, so i wouldn't recommend the all billet one whichever brand it is.
