I just purchased the innovate motorsports wideband airfuel stand-alone kit.

In the directions it talks about older fuel injection vehicles with smog-pumps forcing additional air in, and causing the gauge to show the engine leaner than it actually is.

It wants you to mount the o2 sensor upstream of the outputs from the smog pump. I know there is an output to the H-pipe, but doesn't it also force air into the back of the heads?

What is everybody doing that is running an Air Fuel gauge? I was wanting one to have all the time, and not have to disconnect my smog pump to get a reading.

Is this a concern for our 5.0's?
