One time I just took a vice and crimped it shut, then a few months later my friend welded it shut. I also took a high temp heater hose, put it on the end of the pipe and screwed a bolt into the other end to cap it.

Click to expand... If it's an off road x-pipe filling the tube with JB Weld and letting it cure will do the trick, if the x-pipe have cats you need that tube hooked up. Tim

Pypes and BBK told me that you can leave it open and it won't hurt anything if you can withstand the supple whistle it produces.
