I have a problem with my car. Whenever Im getting on it pretty hard, at around 5000rpm in 3rd gear, I start to see smoke in the inside of the car; which is very disconcerting to be honest. I also have a tick under acceleration so if I were to guess, I would say its an exhaust leaks, but it would have to be pretty big for me to see smoke on the inside would it not? Under normal driving it doesnt happen, and I dont smell exhaust either. The car doesnt burn (much) oil, so i dont think thats it.

Im guessing this involves removing tranny, clutch flywheel ect?

There is never any oil under the car or any indication of oil under the car in the driveway. Does the seal leak enough to make a spot on the ground?

i'd get that checked out NOW, my cousin and his girl friend died cuz of a exhaust leak in his car, you don't want your mother and cousin to have to tell this story to the next guy
