I left hooters a few minutes ago and when I accelerated onto the interstate (was kinda gassin it too), I smelled oil smoke and saw white smoke inside the car. So I figure some poor basturd has oil blow by on his old auto in front of me. Well, as it turns out The smoke kept looming in my car, so I let down both windows, and nurse the POS home (since all my gauges were reading good)......thing I found was PCV valve was poped out from the back of the intake, but nothing else anywhere! a very very small valve cover leak but nothing that could get on anything basically. So I check really good in the engine compartment, still nothing but the PCV was popped out??? would this cause the smoke inside the car...............since then I've driven it down the street and it seems to be fine??
it was a quart and 1/2 low on oil.......maybe the crankcase pressure and the extreme accelertion blew out my PCV and caused the smoke, who knows.
I'll be trying to replace the engine in the coming months........I've just never ran across this problem before. Gonna drive it to work in a little while I'll let you fellas know if it still does it!
