smoked cheesegraters?

anyone ever smoke some fox body cheese graters? if so i wanna see some pics

That would be a ton of work. You would have to tape off all the colored areas and then paint the red lenses. A lot of shops around here mix black paint and clear coat then spray it. It can be done, just a matter how much time you have.

ya th 93 i'm getting has lx tail lights on it now because the PO thought they looked better but he still has the original gt's which i think would look nasty smoked

haha just cause the LX lights are on it now. It's not even mine(YET!!!) but when i do get it in a week ill work something out. i can do the taping but i dont want to waste the money to get it professionally smoked. i might just photoshop something up at school with cs3

I always thought that might look kind of cool, if you're good with a rattle can you can try VHT Nightshades and spray some clearcoat on top of that to make it glossy; the Nightshades has a flat/satin finish to it.

heres a quick chop i did. its really bad, i did it in like 10 seconds, but it might give you an idea.

i like the cheese graters better than the LX's that are on my gt now. i guess having the only smoked cheese graters would be awesome

Me thinks it looks pretty good. The Cheeze Slicers were never that hideous IMO

I like my cheese graters I heard they are starting to become rare and rather pricey on Ebay.

Really? i have an extra pair if i decide to keep the LX's on... or i might have an extra pair of LX's

Probably not. Anything that affects exterior lighting on a car is illegal.

well that sucks. well all of the tint on my car is illegal... especially the windshield. so i dont think i should cause any more attention to myself but i think i might do it anyways

Well, modifying your car is technically illegal, and we all do that anyways. I see "illegal" headlights and taillights all the time. The cops really don't care just as long as the colors are right.

Technically my lights are "illegal" becuase I have a red turn-signal bulb instead of an amber bulb. They could really care less.

i like cheese graters but they only look good on red and black cars, imo. i wish i still had mine, they got lost inbetween the car's transfer from my brother to me.

i sprayed vht niteshades on a set of lx's i have laying around. they look badass! you definitely need to clear them though. i was thinking about spraying my cobra tail lights with some

yea i went today and got a lacquer aerosol that i've used before and just waiting to find a place that sells VHT around here or else i have to order it from the net
