I have a 2000 manual GT with 25K miles basicly stock aside from exhuast and
an Tri-Ax. Anyhow I decided to spin the tires and all was going well until I shifted to second... instead of the tires smoking the clutch was slipping and smoking. What a nasty smell by the way! (245 Kuhmos by the way)
The clutch has not had any symtoms of going out and has rarely been abused until yesterday and it still works good as new. Is there an adjustment I need to make to prevent this from happening again? Or why did this happen?
