The fox is a friends mustang...hard to see the ghost flames but if you look close they are there

Wet sanded more black paint off tailpipes (were painted prior to be buying them) they look bad because I've driven through a couple puddles today but that's just 1500 wetsanding...and i have to polish them still too.

Smoked taillights with that VHT night sand then cleared and did a quick wetsand.

Thank you, that's why i'm trying to make do with what I have for now, too many projects between the car and the house...but I agree. Don't want to big either because I run prostars and don't want to end up with a 2" spacer just to put them on. ;)

Sweet rides!
Good to see another DFG stang with DD FR500's :D I was wondering what the chrome ones would look like on our color, they look great :nice:
And is that original paint on the Fox? Looks mint!

Oh, and big brakes do look sexy...

I like both of them brake set up's.....you two have full pics of your cars by chance?

As for paint being origonal on the fox....the color is stock but it was repainted to answer your question, and the flames added

I actually wanted to keep the brakes looking subtle with the black Mach1 calipers (don't want any Cobra logos on my non-Cobra car) but they were on nation-wide back-order for at least a month, as were the black Cobra ones as well as the red 40th aniversary Cobra ones. I'm not bashing the Cobra calipers, I'm just picky on logos, but they do look nice. So anyways I went with the next best thing which was the Bullet calipers, which have the running horse logo on them. No regrets at all, and I got them within a couple of days. Here's a full car pic, and one that shows what I did to the rears to match the new fronts.

275/40 17's. No rubbing whatsoever, even at full lock over bumps and lowered 2".
Not every brand is made equal though, my fronts are made particularly narrower than other 275's, they're a copy of Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals.
