Smoking like crazy

My car has been smoking badly, especially the left exhaust pipe. Pulled the left valve cover to check the valve seals and found the press on style as opposed to the umbrella seals. Also found all but one of the rocker arms loose! I'm wondering if a correct valve adjustment would clear up a lot of the smoking. Don't understand why it would but I'll adjust and see what happens.

Adjusted valves, all of them off by at least a full turn. Also, vavle covers have no baffles. I wanted to get Cobra covers anyway.

Depends on the smoke... white is water, black is fuel, grey is oil...

hopefully you dont have a rainbow of colors comming out the back..

my rear main seal is bad so i smoke when goin over like 50.. used to be my valve covers leeking onto the headers..
