I bought a set of smoked headlights and sidemarkers for my 95. Looking at how they are mounted, it looks like it's going to be a major p i t a. Anybody have any experience with this?

Side markers are easy.. just unbolt from inside engine compartment..

Headlights are a major PITA.. make sure you have a set of Needlenose plyers.. and try an pinch the clip that holds them on... there are ony 2.. the 3 is the adjustor screw and should pull right out.

When putting the new ones in make sure you alligning the Clips horizontal so you can pinch them for easy removal . I ended up taking mine off several times to get the allignment right.

Good luck

the corner marker is held in with a single 10mm nut. remove that and then pull straight out to the side. the headlight has a metal clip on the top retainer, pull that straight up, then use a 12mm open end wrench to compress the two remaining clips holding the light in. It is actually quite easy to remove them.

they are only a pain in the ass if you let it get to you. breathe, take the pliers, pinch the two sides and pull whichever direction you need to get it out. simple stuff. i used my friends robogrips and i tell you what, those things are a god send for the clips that are completely vertical.

And if all else fails and you're getting really mad, pull out the prybar and pop then front lights out! It may not be the best way but sure is the easiest

I just used a dremel to grind the clips away. I tried the pliers and all other suggestions with no luck.
