I was wondering has anybody seen or know of a way to have a tilt wheel with a sn95 steering wheel and a functional airbag? I just want a tilt wheel in a 92 without deleting the airbag.
Problem is i don't see it being safe. I no longer run the SN95 steering wheel because it sat way too close to the driver. If the bag ever goes off...it's basicallly going to push your face back into the seat. It's much too close.
Also, the tilt wheel may not have the provisions to run the airbag clockspring even though I think the 1990-1993 clock spring is VERy similar to the 87-89 contact disk.
If you could make it happen...you would prob be the first
