Snap crackle pop......

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't popping/backfiring indicate a rich condition and bucking/hesitation indicate a lean condition?

I run pretty rich, and I don't get popping -- if I inadvertently give it too much gas when it's cold (and running *really* rich at that point), I can get a good backfire. Bucking is usually a rich condition (and of course, I have that too... can't cruise at anything less than 1500 RPM). Hesitation I dunno.

mine doesnt snap, crackle, or pop...except when my timing was off as hell after my manifold install...of course the cereal is good...
