Snap on sucks ass!

Craftsman's getting better lately with their pro lines. I'm kind of bitchy about my tools and don't like ugly ones... SK is great too I use a lot of SK as well. It's in between Snap-on and Craftsman pricing yet is same quality as the big-3. A Snap-on dealer is actually the one who turned me onto SK. $450 for a set of snap on wrenches vs 160 for the SK

NO! Not all Snapon tools are under warrenty. There is a time limit AND dealers might sell you something that is NOT a Snapon product and tell you it is Snapon. AND if the dealer you're seeing IS NOT the one who sold you the tool, he DOES NOT want to have the headache of fixing something he did not sell you.

hey... skinny guys can get some torque into those tools... i usually break the bolts first though

My Dad is a senior, master technician for Ford, he has been turning wrenches for 30 years. He also relies on Snap On and Snap On only. So does the rest of his dealership. They all have the lifetime waranties, but there's a big difference. The craftsman stuff breaks a hell of alot more often than the Snap On. And if my Dad has to sit around and wait for a tool, he looses money. So he only uses Snap On.

This is common knowledge with all the Ford dealerships that I've grown up with in Wisconsin since I was 9 years old.

You're an idiot and should be band from this site. Who is ever going to believe someone with the name "Snapon is Bad" that only has one post on this site?

For those of you that doubt snap-on, I suggest you actually get out in the feild and change more than spark plugs.

Posts like this drastically decrease the credibility of this website.

noone will ever waranty a tap. they do make tap extractors. i have a set cuz i can break taps with the best of them.

LOL didn't bother reading anything but the 1st post. Sucks that that happened. I use Snap-on, Mac, and Matco tools and of the three I prefer Snap-on. I don't care for Cornwell though since their guys never seem to stick around our area.

J/K man. My dad has been a GM tech for 19 years. My uncle 14 years with Ford. They both rely ONLY on Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Craftsman, or Cornwell. I have never seen them turn another kind of wrench. Snap-On is the most common found in their shops .... so I would think they're good tools.

All I have is Craftsman or Matco stuff .... but I'm just a novice, lol.
