Progress Thread Snow - 93 GT Vert. Prepping for sale

I finished 2nd in my age group in the local sprint triathlon today. Nothing better than finishing first loser. Slow start to the work.

I am test fitting the intake on, bolts are in but just ended for the test fit.

The new silicone tube I added looks like it could be a bit more snug. It’s currently resting on the valve covers. Do I need to get that a perfect fit so it doesn’t rub at all?

I thought I created a list here of next steps, but I cant seem to find the post. Ill retype, I believe this is whats left in which order
  1. The lower intake coolant, et al fittings.
  2. Exhaust headers and down pipe
  3. Heat pipe
  4. Valve covers
  5. Fuel rail / injectors / lines
  6. Upper intake
  7. EGR spacer
  8. TB
  9. Remaining Vacuum connections
  10. Distributor / plug wires
  11. Radiator / Electric Fan
  12. Accessories / AC delete / PS Pump and lines
  13. Battery
Any comments on scope or ordering?
  1. The lower intake coolant, et al fittings.
    1. Good I think. Still have the rear-passenger NPT fitting tube to connect. Not sure where that comes/goes. Im speculating EGR spacer.
  2. Exhaust headers and down pipe
    1. Manifolds done. Plan on getting under the car this morning to do that down-pipe connections. Looks nice a rusty
  3. Heat pipe
    1. Good I think. Still have that small nipple coming off of it at the top. I believe that is into the EGR spacer
  4. Valve covers
    1. Done
  5. Fuel rail / injectors / lines
    1. Done
  6. Upper intake
    1. Gonna try and redo that vacuum tube today. I could prolly cut off 1-2" of it.
  7. EGR spacer
    1. Waiting on studs.
  8. TB
    1. Waiting on studs
  9. Remaining Vacuum connections
    1. Gonna start tracking those down. I know I have a couple breaks, but I also have a lot deleted.
    2. Bought a vacuum repair kit and some neat looking caps.
  10. Distributor / plug wires
    1. I think I want to get this in after alternator
  11. Radiator / Electric Fan
    1. Havnt done any of this. Will prolly start seating the radiator shortly.
  12. Accessories / AC delete / PS Pump and lines
    1. I was gonna wait to do this until after electric fan. I got bored though and needed to spin some wrenches. Im sure it will be fine and if not, ill spin some more.
  13. Battery
    1. Tray in
    2. A new motorcraft starter solenoid is coming Thursday. The current one I believe is duralast and the posts are super short and barely nutted down now. I need to add in the electric fan controller so I believe I will be needing those longer posts.

"this part of the TFI module" is the spout connector and it just hangs out like that. You remove it to set your base timing and then plug it back in (after you shut the ignition off) so the ECU can control the timing from there.

Tracking down vacuum connections now. Also have the piping to the charcoal box to figure out. Gonna try this: https://www.foxstang.com/fox-mustang-smog-system-help/

Vacuum. See attached pic.

Red line goes to fuel rail thing. North of the red black tube goes to the vacuum tree labeled 'S'.

That leaves those 2 front ports available. I still need vacuum spots for:
  1. Charcoal canister
    1. This is a natural fit for the capped one. I could snake the charcoal line behind the alternator, then distributor, then into that port.
  2. Master red vacuum line. Attached in second pic. The green line in that pic is EGR. Red is the one Im focused on
    1. This one could be routed to the remaining open vacuum line which pops up over the intake.
    2. Is this a good approach? Should I tee a different line and cap the open one instead?
