So i've heard that methanol injection gives u an extra 40hp boost when needed. And that it costs somewhere around $300 to $400? I don't know excatly how it works and was woundering if anyone has any experience with this? Cus ive been considering buying it by this summer time. Not that it matters or anything but it gets really hot in july, august here in Reno Nevada. My next mods will be a beefed up auto tranny, a high stall converter, possibly going with 3600 stall and some M/T street slicks. Right now my autometer boost gauge is showing between 7-10 psi. Any input would be really helpfull. I dont really want to blow some money on something that wont give me the results im looking for.

Sure, methanol injection systems are nice but, they're not for everyone. I'd only do it if you get a tune to properly handle it. Check out Snow's message boards, you'll get more specifics there.

I saw a car make almost 65 rwhp with the snow kit. Talks about bang for your buck. He went from low 500's to high 500's and will be doing a pulley swap on his p1sc-2.

Snow kits work very well. the only issue you have to wrry about is pump failure and thats not very common. I have a devils own kit because I got it at the right price. It uses almost the exact components Snow does. No issues.
