Im am pretty sure the 97 cobras had 4valve heads. So their heads are kind of like the new cobra heads... Just NPI? So could I technically take some PI heads off a newer cobra and put them on the older cobra? Kind of like a PI swap into an older GT... Just dealing with cobras.
Yes you can put 99+ heads on a 96-98 cobra. I have 03 cylinder heads on my 96 cobra with a 99 intake manifold. There are modifications and other parts that need to be bought though, its not just a straight swap.
