So Cal road trip ideas - Road Rally?

The fall weather is great here and the open road is calling ...

Someone (please not me !) needs to organize a Rally/Road Trip and all-around 'stang-net get-together in the desert where the folks in So Cal, Arizona and Nevada can have a Meet and Greet and show off their ride.

Palm Springs? Desert Hot Springs? Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree? 29 Palms?

(all have great weather great roads and fine accommodations galore)

Or maybe for the California Crowd it would be the Central Coast? Santa Barbara/Ventura? Solvang? Pismo Beach?

start at hooters in anaheim at the stadium, then thru orange, thru the canyon past cooks corner then up ortega hwy, down to temecula and up to idylwild and down to palm springs back up to yucca vally, then west on 247 to hwy 18, up the back side to big bear and down 330 the front to san berdo and home on the 91/215,
might be too many miles for nu-bes. thoughts? maybe home after palm springs?

Umm well you have to put in trabuco canyon for sure. its perfect for road trips. i would say sulvang would make a good trip its just far away from me. i think a good cruise along pch does me just fine.
